Gail is an internationally know teacher and designer. Her work began appearing in Creative Needle and Sew Beautiful in the early 1990's. Her work first appeared in Australian Smocking and Embroidery in 2002 and her designs were featured on the cover of issue 80 of AS&E in 2007 and issue 87 in 2009. She brings to the classroom 25 years of hands-on, real life-experience, dressing 7 children and now an ever expanding crew of grandchildren in beautiful heirloom clothing.
In Columbus we will be sewing this beautiful shaped yoke dress. During class Gail will teach you how to prepare an interfaced, piped, shaped yoke and attach it to a smocked bodice dress. She will also help you master the preparation of an embroidered, piped, and faggoted Peter Pan collar. To complete your dress you will have hands-on experience with cast-on flowers.
Cost for this great class is $275.00 plus a $75.00 kit price.
A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place.
The remaining $150.00 class fee and the $75.00 kit fee is due by April 1st.
