The French Acadian Christening Gown and Bonnet Pattern features lace insertion panels down the front of the gown. These panels are fashioned after the style worm in Louisiana in the early 1900's. There are two variations of the same gown in this pattern. One gown includes hand hemstitching and tucks and the other simplifies the gown without losing the lovely French Acadian look. Baby slip pattern is included and features a ruffle at the hem to give fullness to the gown. Bonnet matches the gown.
