Some of the instructions were a bit unclear but then again I sew but I’m not a seamstress. The embroidery took several days but that’s probably because I’ve never done bullion roses before and I used seven different colors. If I would have just used white (like I did on the slip) it would have gone faster. I’ve only done smocking once before so You Tube was my friend. If I had it to do over again I would do the lace insertion first and then the embroidery. I have never done lace insertion before and I was terrified I was going to accidentally cut the skirt and then have to do the embroidery over again. I had to refer to You Tube for the roses, lace insertion, and smocking. Overall I was very pleased with the outcome.

Excited to make this!! It’s beautiful!
